Growing up I was always interested in figuring out what I can do to make a difference in the world around me. I was also very interested in the environment and my surroundings. As a designer I tend to create works that aim make a difference or promote change in the community. My work ranges from promoting the betterment of the environment, to the promotion of community involvement. I want to make a difference in the lives of people around me and promote a healthier environment for all to live in. The work I create is generally designed as a system. Some sort of working system from promotional pieces to get people to an event to even work mocked up in the scenarios it is meant to be seen in. Building partnerships is also big part of what I do. Making connections or looking into places that could potentially work with the design system is key to my design process. Graphic Design has given me a voice in the community around. I can see and explore what people are doing and design something, whether it is a physical object to get people to think about what their choices can do to the environment or create event held in a small community getting families to better understand the environment around them. I just want to make a difference and bring people in the community together with an understanding of the world we live in.
