I am a 21-year-old artist whose work is a response to the disconnection I and many others have experienced with each other, our environment, and ourselves. I re-use found materials to depict scenes including traces of mischievous human life that entices interest, humor, and confusion. Media I have used include found plastic melted into painting surfaces, pre-worn clothes, scrap fabric, wood, paper, and other gleaned materials. I abstract and exaggerate the space to compete with our usually short attention spans due to the constant intake of technology. Another way I touch on this topic is through hand-painted animations which also comment on mass production and the deterioration which is an effect of this process. Painting, clothing and video work is what I would categorize as my art.
