Art is something that is very important to me, and the art that I want to make and leave behind is art that makes a statement. I don't want to leave behind "pretty" art if I have the opportunity to make something that draws attention and compels people to change the world around them. I want to inspire others to make things that resonate with others and to find things that they personally respond to. What I really respond to is feminism and politically and socially charged themes. The pieces in my portfolio are just that. They challenge the political and societal norms that are happening in the world that I feel needs more attention. My goal is to make people angry because angry people get stuff done. I want to see change.
